WISE ENVIORMENT OLYMPIAD
We are glad to share the laurels brought by Dhruv of class IX and Shreya of class VIII at WISE ENVIORMENT OLYMPIAD organised by WISE 2018 (World Initiative to Save Environment) in collaboration with European Union and Indian -Eu water partnership. They bagged a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 each, a medal and a Certificate of Excellence.
K.S. Janani of class XI awarded Times NIE Student of the Year Award 2018-19 by the Times Group for her leadership ability and academic excellence.

Asteroid Discoverer
ASN’s Astronomy Club students Pradyumna Iyer (IX-A) and Saransh Chopra (IX-B) have been felicitated as “Provisional Asteroid Discoverer” by Space. Thus, they added one more feather into the crown of achievements and award winning spree of ASNites by bagging the trophy and certificates in the Space Annual Meet 2016. To gain this achievement, they were first trained in a workshop “All India Asteroid Search Campaign 2016” and learned to use “Astrometric Software” to do real time universe search. This object was first placed in Preliminary discovery and then later confirmed as Provisional discovery by IASC (International Astronomical Search collaboration with USA) as object discovered: 2016JC20

A team of two students ( Hemanttha Krishna Bhardwaj and Shubham Nawani) of class XI prepared a science model on topic CARBON DIOXIDE PLUME GEOTHERMAL ENERGY under the guidance of Dr. Alka Gupta in the subtheme-Industry.
In Zonal Level, the model was selected in the top 5 under a tough competition of 31 models. The model then got selected for central level.
